CHP Appreciation Day is a day that coincides with the Anniversary of the California Highway Patrol.
It’s a day to simply say,
”Thank you!”
”We appreciate you!”
This year will be the CHP’s 95th Anniversary!!
And it’s been 10 years since Gifts 2 Help started celebrating this event.
A little bit of history. With lots of thanks to all of the CHP wives who have helped out throughout the years, we are now on our 10th year of coming together to celebrate our men and women of the California Highway Patrol. Amazing!
So far we have celebrated all these Anniversaries:
2014 85th Anniversary
Gifts 2 Help mailed out 11,000 custom made 85th Anniversary lapel pins to the Division offices so they could be distributed to all the area offices.
We had about 35+ CHP wives help out Statewide
2015 86th Anniversary
Gifts 2 Help sent out about 100 Popcorn Tins to area offices, statewide. Gifts 2 Help also hosted a couple of lunches.
We had about 70+ CHP Wives help out Statewide
2016 87th Anniversary
Gifts 2 Help sent out about 100 cookie platters to area offices, statewide. Gifts 2 Help also hosted lunch for a couple of offices.
We had about 70+ CHP Wives help out Statewide
2017 88th Anniversary
Gifts 2 Help mailed out Thank you cards to all area offices, provided lunch for a couple of offices and a few cakes for area offices.
We had about 70+ CHP Wives help out Statewide
2018 89th Anniversary
Gifts 2 Help provided cakes for a few area offices.
We had about 70+ CHP Wives help out Statewide.
Gifts 2 Help has also put together Appreciation Goodie Bags.
2019 90th Anniversary
Gifts 2 Help mailed out a Certificate of Appreciation to all area offices.
We also provided cakes to several offices.
We had about 70+ CHP wives help out Statewide
2020 91st Anniversary
Gifts 2 Help mailed out over 50 “Heroes Work Here” Banners to offices across the State.
CHP wives across the State brought in goodies and more to many of the area offices.
2021 92nd Anniversary
CHP wives across the State brought in goodies and more to many of the area offices.
2022 93rd Anniversary
CHP wives across the State brought in goodies and more to many of the area offices.
2023 94th Anniversary
CHP wives across the State brought in goodies and more to many of the area offices.
And now, this year, 2024, we will celebrate the
95th Anniversary!!!!
Lots of thanks and appreciation to all the wives who have helped honor and appreciate their husbands throughout the years. 💙💛
